Painting Water and Clouds
Learn simple techniques for painting two of nature’s most beautiful—and sometimes challenging—subjects: water and clouds. We’ll explore how to create convincing reflections, ripples, depth, soft cloud edges, and dramatic skies using color, value, and brushwork. Through demonstrations and hands-on practice, you’ll discover practical techniques you can use in your own landscape paintings.
All skill levels welcome.
I will be teaching this class on Friday, October 16th, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. The cost is $15 and includes all materials and supplies.
Free parking is available in the parking lot on the west side of the building (Note: ignore the Permit Required sign). Petrichor Collective is down the stairs in the basement. You can also park on the front, east side of the building and walk around to the stairs on the west side leading to the basement.
